What happens here is a common mixing of terms. Dental insurance plan really falls into two groups - there are dental discount plans, and dental insurance - but at this point in time, there is no such thing as dental discount insurance.

So now we're left with the real question - do we have any hopes for dental discount insurance policies in the future? The only explanation at this moment is, that it has been pointed out in conferences concerning the recent health care changes.
I intend to address this in another article. As for now, the only place the word 'discount' is used is with dental discount plans - but not with insurance, yet.
